PRO 7PRG Kiln Accessories Kit contains essential tools to use with the Prometheus PRO-7 Kiln range.
This kiln accessory kit includes a variety of items that make kiln firing easier. The Large 15x15cm kiln shelf provides a surface for dried/finished clay pieces to be placed on during firing and for removing work from the kiln after firing. The 180mm x 165mmD x 100mmH stainless steel pan with lid can be filled with activated carbon (not included) for firing base metal and sterling silver clays.
The re-usable fibre blanket can support round or delicately shaped pieces during firing. The four mini maxi kiln posts are designed to elevate the shelf off the kiln floor. This is important in prolonging the life of any kiln floor and elevation also makes it easier to remove the shelf from the kiln. The large mesh firing support offers an ideal surface for supporting work pieces and also allows heat to circulate around the work for an even firing. It can also easily be moved in and out of the kiln with the long black tweezers.
The steel brush is a great tool to use after firing to bring out the shine or after pieces have been soaking in the included safe pickle solution.
