Although it is possible to fire Silver Metal Clay without a Kiln - there are well known limitations of size and the inability to utilise the full breadth of possibilities with not only silver but with all the fabulous metal clay types that are available. In the metal clay world owning a digitally controlled kiln, is "first prize".
Prometheus Kilns are
universally recognised as being robust and reliable metal clay jewellery making
and enamelling kilns. They feature predominantly in the UK and Europe as
multi-functional kilns which can be used by beginners and professionals.
Although Prometheus Kilns were designed for metal clay and enamelling, they are
perfect for china painting, annealing, low fire ceramics, glass slumping and
hardening silver, gold or other metals. Prometheus Kilns all contain four
embedded heating elements which provide constant and even heat distribution
with the aim of producing consistent and dependable results every time.
Prometheus Kilns are stock items for us and can be checked, tested and shipped out Australia wide within 7-10 working days.
