Kiln Safety Glasses with Infrared and UV Protection

These glasses are made of polycarbonate material after hard film processing, super hard coating, light transmittance, with wide field of vision features, the thickness of 2.0 mm. Please note: The difference between the two shades offered is the intensity of the tint. The lower the shade number, the lighter the lens, the higher the number, the darker the lens. Available options Shade 3 (lighter) or Shade 5 (darker) Both options are suitable for kiln use.

PLEASE NOTE: additional protection is needed for those working with materials that produce a sodium flare or bright orange light. In these cases, we recommend purchasing safety glasses specifically designed to filter out sodium flare and also block harmful UV and IR radiation, offering superior protection for artists working under these conditions. We do not stock BorotruView 3.0 filter safety glasses.
