Comprises various waxes, resins and high concentrations of pigments, for resistance to water and common chemicals with enhanced tint retention and hiding ability for colouring and highlighting interior and exterior applications. Gilders Paste can be used on Metal - including Wrought Iron, Steel, Aluminum and Alloys.Wood - Mouldings, Railings, Furniture, Guilding Restoration, Picture Frames and Mitre Joints. Ceramic Planters and Terra Cotta. Resin Castings, Polymer Clay, Wax Candles, Gourds and much more. Create shimmering looks to your next jewellery or craft design. Gilders Paste is a new way to decorate your jewelry and crafts. The no fade Gilders Paste is also nice alternative to paint for colouring and highlighting interior and exterior applications. Using a brush, cloth, paintbrush or finger, rub paste (as it comes out of the jar) onto material to produce a unique coloured finish or thin it with paint thinner for sponging and staining or spray painting. Layer colours to create great effects. Drying time is approximately 30 minutes to an hour to touch and 12 hours for full cure. Do not polish for 12 hours. 30ml container covers over 30 square feet. Please note that we have tried to provide graphics that best reflect the true colour of this product however it is not always possible to get an exact match.

Customers please note that becoming hard is the nature of the Gilders Paste product. If it is hard, there is nothing wrong with the product. By mixing in a few drops of either; paint thinner, mineral spirits or turpentine, the paste becomes completely rejuvenated and ready to use. The ability to rejuvenate Gilders Paste allows for many years of use and a long shelf life. There is no need to mix up the whole tin, just mix what you need, as and when you need it. Gilders Paste goes a long way.
