Shelf Kit for china painting, Enamelling, BRONZclay, COPPRclay or Glass work,  a thicker shelf with four shelf posts.  178mm x 178mm x 15mm cordierite shelf and four 25mm x 25mm x 12mm posts. The thick heavy shelf retains heat and the shelf posts allow hot air to circulate. Some materials, glass in particular, need an even temperature. Cordierite is a magnesium aluminium silicate that resists thermal distortion and fracture. A thick shelf, on posts, heats and cools evenly: particularly important for glass work and with BRONZclay and COPPRclay.

All Paragon Kilns are custom manufactured in the USA to meet Australian Safety standards and specifications. Paragon Kilns are not stock items for us and the current delivery estimate on Paragon kilns is 4-6+ weeks. The prices shown on our website include the kiln and shipping to an Australian address within 50km of most Capital Cities (excluding Darwin and Hobart) If a kiln is purchased and the customer's designated delivery address falls outside of the Paragon Industries "free shipping CBD zone" We contact Paragon Industries for a shipping quotation and will send an invoice to cover any additional shipping/insurance.  Paragon kilns are sold in Australia ex GST and customs/import duty.  GST and other applicable duties/fees are collected from the addressee/ kiln owner by the shipping agent (usually FEDEX) when the kiln arrives in Australia. The General Rate of Duty is estimated at 5% X FOB Value of goods (Value converted to AUD at the exchange rate determined by Australian customs).  GST is estimated at 10% x Cost of goods, Insurance, freight + Any Duty Paid.

MAY 2022. Due to world wide supply chain issues, Paragon Industries have added a new controller option. It is the Paragon Touch Express which is manufactured by the Bartlett Instrument Company. The Paragon Touch Express will now be the current and only alternative available. It will replace the now out of stock Sentry Express 5.0-3 Key Controller which is manufactured by Orton Ceramic Foundation.

As of 2 May 2022 Paragon Industries will be using this smaller version of their Sentinel Touch Screen Controller in lieu of the Sentry Xpress 5.0-3 Key Controller. By offering this proven, high quality, touchscreen technology, Paragon Industries will be able to maintain production and their lead times. Please be aware that all new kiln orders will receive kilns with a Bartlett Touch Screen Controller NOT the Sentry Express 5.0-3 Key Controller. Paragon Industries are currently researching additional controller options.****
