How to use Wood Clay Metal Clay:
Wood Clay needs to be kiln fired, allowing the heat to slowly penetrate through the finished piece.
Please note: Wood clay should be fully dried before covering with silver or other open-shelf-fireable metal clay
Place dried, completed piece into the kiln. Heat kiln up to 500C on a slow ramp, and hold for 30 minutes. This will enable the metal clay to harden enough to keep its shape, and the wood clay to burn away.
Follow the rest of the firing schedule of your chosen clay
Always fire in a well ventilated room, as it does produce some smoke!
Once open, wrap up carefully in double layers of cling film, and put in a grip seal bag, keep at room temperature.
