Prometheus Base Metal Clay Sampler Pack of 5
This base metal clay sampler pack includes 5 x 20g packs.
Making test pieces is always recommended with base metal clays which are more challenging to work with than fine silver.
Always refer to the firing schedules and other information related to each individual clay.
Small projects using Copper, Bronze and Sunny Bronze can be Torch fired. Sterling White Bronze and Troy Bronze can only be kiln fired.
Please always refer to the instructions, information and video links available on each individual clay.

How to achieve positive firing outcomes
You can combine different Prometheus® Base Metal Clays in one piece and fire them together using the 2 Step Carbon Firing Method. To determine the second step firing temperature, refer to the firing instructions of the clay which requires the minimum firing temperature within your combination. Fire for at least 2 hours.
Shrinkage rates - Prometheus Copper Clay® 5 - 8%, Prometheus Bronze Clay® 12 -13%, Prometheus Sunny Bronze Clay® 6-10%, Prometheus Sterling White Bronze Clay® 13-15
Graphics and Colours should be used as a guide. The clay used in all project graphics is Prometheus Clay.
