Mitsubishi Materials Trading Corp has now taken the clay one step further and it can be open shelf fired like the other fine silver brands of Silver Metal. So the great news is... there is no need for activated carbon in the firing process. Simply add pieces to a cold kiln, ramp at full speed to 871-898ºC and hold for one hour!
PMC OneFire 950 Sterling is ideal for delicate designs or for pieces that need added strength. If necessary - solder onto fired pieces with any grade of silver solder. PMC OneFire 950 Sterling fired pieces are also suitable for enamelling, keum-boo, stone-setting, and plating. This metal clay has the same malleability and versatility of the other silver metal clays
