Pewter Blackener produces a dark, black antique finish on pewter, lead, bronze, copper, nickel, tin-lead alloys, and solders. No heat or electricity is needed.
Works well for Stained Glass Projects, Lamps, Lighting Fixtures, Statues, Antique Reproductions, Hardware, Jewellery and Architectural Metalwork.
Metal must be clean and free of lacquer, oil, grease or wax. To apply, either brush solution on with a bristle brush or dip entire object in solution. Rinse well with water and dry. To achieve desired finish, highlight with steel wool or Scotchbrite. To duplicate a particular finish, over-darken the metal and then relieve with steel wool or a polishing cloth. Finish may be oiled or lacquered. Information sheet will be included with product.
