Bronze Joint and Catch embeddable Brooch findings.
2 Joints and 2 Catches. For 2 Brooches. Pins are not included. These brooch findings can be fixed or embedded into Bronze or Copper Metal Clay with paste or clay prior to firing. After firing, cut desired length of 18-gauge (1.0mm) Bronze Round Wire (Pins NOT included) to make a pin to complete the brooch. Sharpen and refine one end of the wire by sanding and filing. Use round nosed pliers to form a loop at the other end of the wire. The looped end is the end that will be fitted and fixed into the "joint" part of the brooch. The point will be captured by the "catch". It is very simple to make. The diagram included with the findings graphic is to clarify the shape of the pin.
