With 3M micron-graded abrasives, you remove a controlled amount of material, leaving a more consistent finish after each grade of abrasive. Ideal for interior shapes and for polishing just about any contoured surface.

3M Polishing papers are designed for use on metal, rather than on unfired clay. To shape or refine unfired metal clay, we recommend using our 3M Soft Sponge Pads which are perfect for that job.
Use these polishing papers to polish sterling silver, fine silver, gold, brass, bronze and copper.
The dark green polishing paper (400 grit) works well to remove patina from high spots for an antiqued finish.
To polish metal to a mirror finish, start with the 400 grit and work through to the finest 8000 grit. When you see uniform fine scratches on the surface, move on to the next grit. Don’t skip grits or you will not achieve a mirror finish.
3M Polishing papers are colour coded for easy identification. Mark each paper on the reverse side to remind you of the grit and also the correct side to use.
