Firing Foldable Spatula for Enamelling

Designed by renowned USA enamelling artist and teacher Pam East, this stainless steel firing spatula features a tapered, slightly cupped blade that is ideal for picking up any trivet, from the smallest to full-size trivets and easily handles all Pam East trivet styles. This firing spatula is an essential tool for any enamellist. Pam East's stainless steel spatula is designed in two parts which allows the user to collapse the spatula for storage or travel but easily reassembling it in seconds as needed. The shaped handle provides sturdy support and a firm grip as the spatula is used. A simple wing-nut secures the handle either in the closed or open position. When collapsed, the spatula measures 24.3cm

The broad, flat shape of this steel spatula makes it versatile because it can to be used with almost any size or shape of firing rack or trivet. The full secured length is strong, rigid and similar in length to a traditional firing fork but the spatula is much more useful and less awkward to use than a pronged firing fork.
