This gold foil is thicker than most commercially available gold foil, which makes it much easier to handle. Placed between two sheets of paper to support the gold and prevent tearing, the 24k foil can be cut with fine scissors and even paper punches.

Our 24k Gold Foil is very well suited to the Keum-Boo technique (also called Kumbo, Kum-Boo, Kum-Bu or Keum-Bu) which is an ancient Korean technique where, using heat and pressure, gold foil is fused to silver (or other metals, like steel). The results are beautiful and if you are a silver clay artist, Keum-Boo is an exciting technique to try
