PMC3 Syringe 9g.
This form of PMC3 allows the user to extrude PMC3 in a string-like shape. Syringe form is slightly more moist than clay form but not as moist as paste. Syringe form is useful either to decorate items made with either clay or paste or to create objects such as filigree. The syringe comes loaded with 9 grams of PMC3 and includes one tip that can be trimmed to allow different gauge extrusions.
When fired at 900°C for two hours PMC3™ is the strongest fine silver metal clay available. It has a fine, smoother composition that’s easy to work with and manipulate. You can also embed findings with confidence--firing at a low temperature means they won’t be heat-damaged. PMC3 is suitable for torch-firing as well as kiln-firing. Composition: Metal powder (90%), water and organic binder (10%) Colour: Pickle white Shrinkage: 12% Physical Properties: • Firing temperature: 900°C for two hours to achieve maximum strength and maximum durability; or 600°C for 45 minutes; or 650°C for 20 minutes; or 700°C for 10 minutes. • Melting point: 960°C • Density after firing: 9.3 S.G.
