Please note. To keep Nano Gems true to colour and lustre, it is important to fire Nano Gems with an azure (a hole for light to pass through) behind the Nano Gem. 

Without an azure, Nano Gems can change colour, look muddy or lose their lustre.  Maximum firing temperatures vary between different Nano Gems. They can change when they are fired above recommended temperatures.  Safe to fire in activated carbon up to the recommended firing * temperature.

These gems are safe to fire up to * 905°C  The longer, higher firing temperatures required for most base metal clays would make these gems an unsuitable inclusion.    Do not quench
