This Makin's Deluxe Stainless Steel Extruder set combines the next generation of the Makins patented screw-type extruder, 20 popular disc designs and 2 extra O-rings in a convenient storage case.

The new commercial grade stainless steel extruder incorporates an L-shaped handle with ergonomic grip that can be adjusted to optimise users comfort, control and torque requirements.

The discs included are an assortment of designs frequently used by artists when creating geometric embellishments and complex armatures.

The durable case has an easy-accessible resting place for the extruder, eight separators which keep accessories organised in individual storage compartments, a clear see-through top and double latch locking mechanism.

The barrel is approximately 14.22 cm long. The opening is approximately 1.90 cm wide.

All of the Makins disc sets we sell are interchangeable.

The Makins Hollow Core adaptors and the Makins Ultimate Clay Extruder Drill Adapter (**please refer to the information below) will work with this extruder.

This Makins extruder has been acknowledged by the polymer clay, metal clay, cake decorating and other craft communities world-wide as being very durable and designed to meet the diverse applications of professionals working with various types of moulding, modelling mediums. To protect and extend the life of the extruder, thoroughly condition any modelling medium to achieve a soft and malleable consistency.

** Please Note: Any damage caused to any Makins Extruder being used with the Makins Extruder Adaptor (or any other extruder Adaptor brand) is NOT covered under the factory warranty.

Cordless and other electric drill types generate excessive and often, uncontrolled amounts of torque force.
If an Extruder Adaptor is used 1) without the appropriate control over drill settings 2) extended usage 3) used without knowledge of the appropriate material plasticity/malleability of the inserted clay, considerable force and heat generation will be applied within the extruder. This combination has the potential to strip or distort the threads of the extruder endcaps, at one or both ends.

To avoid damaging the extruder, attention, care and extreme caution is recommended when using all extruder adaptors, including the Makins Extruder Adaptor.
