10-grams of Prometheus .999 Fine Silver Clay.

10-gram jar of Prometheus .999 Fine Silver slip/paste.

10-gram syringe of Prometheus .999 Fine Silver

1 pair of .5mm Plastic Spacer Strips

1 pair of .25mm Plastic Spacer Strips

1 Brass Brush (toothbrush style)

Roller (may be clear or opaque)

Set of 3 Flexible Blades with protector

1 Fine Needle File

1 Set of 4 Makins B Texture Sheets

1 Set of 3 Graduated Makins Cutters (either heart or square or triangle or rectangle shapes depending on kit selection)

• Prometheus .999 Fine Silver is suitable for torch-firing, gas stove top firing as well as kiln-firing.

• Prometheus .999 Fine Silver has a strong adverse reaction to contact with aluminium. Do not use aluminium tools or allow your silver clay to come into contact with any aluminium object.

Prometheus .999 Fine Silver Composition: Metal powder (90%), water and organic binder (10%)

Colour: Pickle white

Shrinkage: 12-14%

Physical Properties:

• Prometheus .999 Silver Clay is a low-fire clay that can be fired as low as 570ºC or as high as 850ºC It is pure silver (99.9%) after firing. It can be kiln, torch and gas stove top fired.

Prometheus .999 Silver Clay consists of pure silver particles, binder and water. During firing, the binder burns away and the pure silver particles solidify

• Melting point: 960°C

The tool content of this kit is basic. In comparison to other kits, the silver metal clay content makes this kit excellent value.
